Jamie Corroon, ND, MPH

About 

Jamie Corroon, ND, MPH, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Assistant Project Scientist at the Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMCR) in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Family Medicine at UCSD, funded by a T32 grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, where he investigated the impact of cannabis use on cardiovascular health. Dr. Corroon earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California, a master’s degree in Public Health (Epidemiology) from San Diego State University, and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University. He serves as Medical Director at the Center for Medical Cannabis Education, advising dietary supplement and cannabis companies on science, regulation, and product development, and is a member of the Board of Directors of CV Sciences, Inc. Dr. Corroon is well-published in peer-reviewed literature, with recent publications examining the clinical and public health implications of society’s growing acceptance of cannabis.
